The Risk Management Council (RMC) is a grouping of NIH senior leaders, established to advise, support and provide a resource to the NIH Senior Assessment Team (SAT) on policies and procedures related to the NIH Risk Management Program consistent with Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act, OMB Circular A-123, and the HHS Guidance Manual for OMB Circular A-123 Assessments. The RMC shall advise and make decisions on NIH risk management policy; provide coordination and oversight foster communication and cooperation between OD and IC offices, and employees involved in the NIH Risk Management Program. The RMC will be chaired by the Director, Office of Management Assessment (OMA) and comprised of 13 members who will serve one- to three-year rotations.
